Inter forgets Cavani and turns to Morata Right Now !

Inter Milan are currently looking for a replacement for Lautaro Martinez. For a while, the Lombard officials thought of getting their hands on Edinson Cavani, at the end of the contract at PSG. Contacts were made, but they mostly failed because he has other plans for the rest of his career. He is in advanced discussions with Atlético Madrid, a club with which he was already close to signing up last January. As a result, the Italians changed their target and are now targeting Alvaro Morata of Atlético.
According to the Italian daily Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri indeed see the Spanish international striker as the solution to their problem. The catch is that the Rojiblancos have not yet fully paid the € 55 million they owe Chelsea for its transfer. An agreement is still possible despite this, but it is unlikely that a transfer will materialize for a sum lower than that mentioned above. It remains to be seen how far Inter are willing to climb to bring the former Juventus striker into their ranks. Knowing that Antonio Conte particularly appreciates this player, since he already had him under his orders in Turin and Chelsea, one can imagine that the Lombards are inclined to make significant efforts to complete this dossier.
